Buckley & Phillips was founded in 1972, as a small candle making company operating from a backyard shed in Port Melbourne, Australia. Based on a strict manufacturing philosophy committed to purity, quality, and environmental sustainability, the company has experienced considerable growth over the last three decades, now operating out of a large modern facility in Lilydale, Australia and selling product nationwide through premium retailers and mail order.
Buckley and Phillips approached E-Impressions to enhance the look and feel of their existing website and also adding new functionalities to their existing Content Management System. The website was to display all Buckley and Phillips brands in more user=centric format and provide its users a very pleasing online buying expereince.
Buckley and Phillips wanted a web site that:
- Has a Content Management System (CMS) which can cater for both displays, Brand wise and Product wise.
- Have all data centralised in a central repository.
- Use web technology to collect user information and run a marketing campaign to inform them about their constant evolving range.
- Provide a system that also cross sells additonal products to its users.
- Make it attractive and easy to navigate.
The resulting website has been designed around ease of usability of their product range.
Management of the different categories, products and sub-products via a web based administration system that allows the products to be added, edited and removed by Buckley and Phillips staff.
'Enlarge Image' function of each product has been implemented for the potential customer to have a good look of the product before they make a purchase.
